Saudi males may report very traditional attitudes towards working females. The single, unemployed, young and educated Saudi males may report less traditional attitudes towards working females compared with married, employed, old and less educated ones.
Keep in mind that Saudi Arabians are used to visiting restaurants that have two sections, one for men and one for families, where women and families are seated in a seperated, partitioned arrangement. However, newer restaurants usually have a mixed-gender open plan that still provide the option for families to be segregated, and usually they indicate this with a sign out front.
Women in Saudi Arabia are not banned from working as waitresses in restaurants as long as they work in sections designated for women in line with an agreement to employ women in areas where the right conditions are provided.
